We believe that educating families about their rights and the rights of their children in special education is paramount. We tailor our advocacy to each client’s unique background and experience. We teach families about their rights under the IDEA (the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and other applicable federal and state anti-discriminatory laws. We assist families in ensuring their child receives a FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education) by providing support through evaluations, assessments, (IEP)Individualized Education Program meetings, manifestation determinations, OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) complaints, OCR (Office of Civil Rights) complaints, mediation, due process hearings and more.
